Crystal Ski Holidays expands ‘Slope Starters’ offering

Following on from the success of Crystal Ski Holidays’ first ‘Slope Starters’ week which took place in March 2023, the company has expanded its offering for apprehensive beginner skiers and boarders, now offering packages to Arinsal, Andorra in addition to Flaine, France.

Slope Starters is designed with the beginner skiing and snowboarding community in mind and will whisk travellers off to the mountains for a week of bumper skiing and socialising. Starting at £845 per person, the package includes return flights, half-board accommodation, transfers, ski lessons, equipment hire and a lift pass. The Andorra Slope Starters beginner week will run 21-28 January 2024, with Flaine taking place 9-16 March 2024.

In addition to ski and snowboarding lessons, there’ll be plenty of activities on offer beyond the slopes to demonstrate what a ski holiday is all about. To create a sense of community and to encourage attendees to make new friends, the week will start with welcome drinks at the hotel, as well as a bowling night, partying at après-ski and a relaxing spa session. And to round everything off, there’ll be an awards evening on the last night to celebrate customers’ debut trips to the mountains.

Chris Logan, Managing Director, Crystal Ski Holidays, said: “At Crystal Ski Holidays, we are always looking for different ways to make skiing and snowboarding more accessible. Holidays in the mountains offer memorable and happy moments for our customers, and we want as many people as possible to be able to experience them.

“We launched our first ever Slope Starters week for winter 2022-23 in Flaine, France with the aim to remove barriers to skiing and snowboarding for people who have never tried it before, while also showing them how much fun you can have on – and off – the slopes. We’re excited to now be offering a second resort for customers, to give them more choice. What’s great about Slope Starters is everything is taken care of in one complete package and gives travellers the chance to make new, like-minded friends along the way. We hope that once they’ve had their first taste, they’ll keep heading back to the snow time and time again to make more unforgettable memories.”
